Carly Hathorn

Hi! I’m Carly Hathorn, a junior golfer from Missouri City, Texas. I’ve been playing  golf since I was six years old, and it’s a huge part of my life. My dream is to play Division 1 (D1) college golf and become one of the top women’s amateur golfers in the world. I believe in staying calm under pressure, staying focused, and never giving up—especially when I face setbacks.

My love for golf runs deep, and my journey wouldn’t be the same without my grandfather. He’s 92 years old and has been an avid golfer for over 60 years. He has played a huge role in my golf life, and I’m so grateful for his guidance, encouragement, and presence. Long range sessions, tough tournament courses, and intense cardio workouts help me grow stronger, both physically and mentally. Golf has taught me patience, perseverance, and confidence, and it continues to challenge me and shape who I am every day.

Off the course, I’m a 9th grader at The Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas. I’m a straight-A student and stay involved in many community service projects. I  love baking, spending time with friends, reading, and shopping. I’m passionate about entrepreneurship. One of my biggest dreams is to become a CEO one day and make an impact beyond the golf world, too!
